Jomblang Cave is a vertical cave in the karst area of Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, famous for the ‘Heaven’s Light’ phenomenon — beams of sunlight that shine through the cave’s opening and illuminate the bottom. The cave was formed by the collapse of ancient land thousands of years ago, leaving a hole about 60 meters deep with a floor covered in prehistoric forest.
